The New York State High School Esports Showcase will return to MVP Arena on Saturday, September 26, 2026, bringing together high school esports teams from across New York State for a full day of competition, student engagement, and program-building opportunities.
The Presenting Sponsor for the event will be the Innovation Partnership, a collaboration between Albany County and MVP Health Care. This 5th annual event will feature tournament play in:
- Rocket League
- Marvel Rivals
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Participating schools will earn funds to reinvest directly into their esports programs.
The NYS High School Esports Showcase is designed to elevate scholastic esports as a platform for teamwork, leadership, digital literacy, and career readiness, while creating a high-energy, arena-scale experience for students, educators, and families.
