The Funny Bone has a full bar and a dinner menu available through your server when you are seated in the showroom.
Seating is first come, first served. We seat the room from front to back and guests will be seated accordingly based on arrival time.
- Most of our tables seat 4 people. You may be seated with a separate party of guests at the same table.
- If you wish to sit with another party, please arrive and enter the showroom together.
- All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Sales tax and service fees are included in the ticket price.
- This event is 21+ and all guests will need valid ID to enter.
About the artist:
Big Jay Oakerson is one of the most beloved and easily recognizable comedians working today. His laid-back style and dirty delivery are the signature marks of his comedy. Jay’s career spans two decades, starting in Philadelphia as a “comic’s comic” before rising to mainstream fame in New York.
Constantly touring the country, Jay has been a part of comedy festivals including Moontower, Bonnaroo, RockStar Energy Drink's Mayhem Fest, Gathering of the Juggalos, Funny or Die’s Oddball Festival, and Just For Laughs Montreal (he’s appeared there four times, both on The Nasty Show and with his solo show, The American Storyteller). He has also played yearly on the Vegas festival SkankFest, which Jay helps produce.
Every week Jay co-hosts "The Bonfire" alongside Bob Kelly on SiriusXM 95 Monday through Thursday 6–8pm EST. He is also the co-host of two podcasts, "Legion of Skanks" with Luis J. Gomez and Dave Smith, and "The SDR (Sex, Drugs & Rock & Roll) Show" with Ralph Sutton, both on The Gas Digital Network.
On screen, Jay has been featured on "This Is Not Happening" with Ari Shaffir, "Comedy Underground" with Dave Attell, FX’s "Louie", "Inside Amy Schumer", and late-night shows including "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and "Conan O’Brien". Longtime fans will remember him as Neil on IFC’s "Z-Rock", and from appearances on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend", "Comedy Central Presents" and "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn".
Jay’s debut hour special "Big Jay Oakerson: Live At Webster Hall" premiered on Comedy Central in 2016 and was filmed at Webster Hall in New York City. His second special premiered in 2018 as part of "The Degenerates" on Netflix and was filmed in Las Vegas. Jay has also recorded three comedy albums on Comedy Central Records: "The Crowdwork Sessions: What’s Your F@#king Deal?! Volumes 1 & 2", which capture his crowdwork, and "An American Storyteller".
This year, Jay returns as the king of crowd work with his 2-part special, "THEM / THEY", available now on YouTube.
