Henry Ferland is an exceptional fingerstyle guitarist who plays melody, rhythm, bass, and percussion simultaneously, often while singing. His repertoire and influences include:
- Americana: Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Tommy Emmanuel
- Jazz: Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, Jonathan Kreisberg, Julian Lage
- Contemporary artists: Paul Simon, Dave Matthews

He is making a name for himself in the Hudson Valley by performing at some of its world famous venues like the Colony Woodstock, The Falcon in Marlboro and now the Towne Crier in Beacon. His deft musicianship and dynamic concerts win audiences and keep them coming back.
