Come join Collin Case for a 90-minute workshop to understand core small engine systems and functions and to learn diagnostics and disassembly with minimal mess.

You will learn:

• Engine Basics:
• Identify major components on a static (dry) engine: Cylinder, piston, crankshaft, camshaft, flywheel
• Carburetor, ignition coil, pull starter
• 4-stroke cycle (intake, compression, combustion, exhaust)
• 2-stroke vs 4-stroke (when and why you’d use them)

• Hands-On Mechanical Systems & Diagnostics:
• Participants will work in small groups at disassembly stations with hand tools.
• Participants can bring their own cordless impact drill/driver if desired.
