Come celebrate 50 years of Northshire! Northshire Bookstore first opened in the summer of 1976 in Manchester Center, VT. We are celebrating our 50th anniversary with family-friendly activities, prizes and fun in both stores!
Schedule of events:
Manchester store:
- 10 am - 5 pm: photo booth with free commemorative photos
- 10 am - 5 pm: literary trivia scavenger hunt
- 10 am - 1 pm: roaming close-up magic with magician Billy Jamez
- 10:30 am: Llama Llama Story Time and meet & greet with the Llama Llama costume character
- 11 am - 2 pm: live in-store broadcast with WEQX
- 12 noon: anniversary ribbon cutting hosted by the Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce
- 12:30 - 2:30 pm: Spin the prize wheel for great prizes!
- 1 pm - 5 pm: face painting with Blossom Winks
- 1:30 pm: Llama Llama Story Time and meet & greet with the Llama Llama costume character
- 5 pm: Store closes early for a private function
Saratoga Store:
- 10 am - 5 pm: photo booth with free commemorative photos
- 10 am - 5 pm: literary trivia scavenger hunt
- 10 am - 1 pm: roaming close-up magic with magician Alan Edstrom
- 11 am: Story Time with our booksellers
- 12:30 - 2:30 pm: Spin the prize wheel for great prizes!
- 1 pm - 5 pm: face painting with Fancy Face Creations
