About

Taiga Hilliard has designed at least a hundred patterns for babies and children, many using the same construction as the Sedona Rose pattern featured in this class. (Many sweaters for adults also use this method of shaping, top down or bottom up, making it useful to understand.)

This lovely cropped sweater is knit flat with worsted weight yarn, top down with raglan shaping, short or long sleeves and embellished with a touch of lace at the hem. Techniques taught in this class include raglan shaping using Kfb increases, K2tog, SSK, YO, button hole, reading a lace chart, and using Magic Loop or DPNs for the sleeves.

Dates: March 1st and 15th, 1-4pm. Fee: $65.

Yarn Therapy dates: 3/8/26 and 3/22/26. These sessions will provide guidance between class sessions if needed. $10 per drop-in session.
