The Goddess Party Presents: THE WEDDING

An immersive ceremonial performance about devotion, truth, and the courage of commitment.

Following a series of sold-out performances throughout the Hudson Valley, The Goddess Party gathers for two special nights at Tempo this July 31 and August 1 to explore what it means to marry yourself. This show is created in collaboration with Gabrielle Heron, who has been practicing and guiding self-marriage work for more than two decades.

The Wedding is a magical, participatory evening of music, spoken word, and ritual inviting collective witnessing and personal power. At the threshold of theater and ceremony, this choral performance invites audiences into a shared experience that connects us to the deeper relationship with oneself, leading to a deeper connection with others.

Special guest performance by singer and songwriter Ngonda Badila aka Lady Moon.

Come as you are, or dress for the occasion in whatever makes you feel most ceremonial. Bring your full self and express yourself, there are no limits. Guests are invited to bring a hand-held mirror for the vow ritual and to participate as much or as little as they’d like. Veils will also be available for purchase at the merch table. All identities welcome in ceremony and celebration.
