📚✨ CREATE YOUR OWN STORYBOOK THIS SUMMER ✨📚

Join filmmaker and storyteller Madison Bounds of LifeStory Films for a hands-on workshop where teens and adults will write, illustrate, and design their very own original storybook.

When:
- Thursdays, June 11–August 6, 2026
- 3:30–5:00 PM

What you'll do:
- Brain mapping & storytelling
- Character development & plot building
- Photography & storyboarding
- iPad illustration & digital design

Participants will receive peer feedback and one-on-one support while developing a completed physical storybook that reflects their own imagination and creative voice.

This class is drop-in friendly, though students are encouraged to attend multiple sessions. The workshop runs for 9 weeks; we encourage attending at least 5 weeks to have a completed storybook.

- FREE thanks to grant funding
- Registration is required. MUST RSVP for the dates you plan to attend to reserve your spot!

About the instructor:
Madison Bounds is a filmmaker living in Kingston who runs LifeStory Films, a production company that celebrates life stories and family histories. He has worked throughout the Hudson Valley and Northeast with families, nonprofits, and small businesses to preserve their histories as video documentaries. Through LifeStory Films, Madison runs digital storytelling workshops using a range of media to help people discover and share their creative voice.

Printing details:
- ONLY COMPLETED PROJECTS WILL BE PRINTED. Finished storybooks will be printed through a print center.
- Each student who completes their project will receive one printed copy of their book.
- These books are created for personal keepsakes and creative expression and will not include ISBN registration or commercial publishing.
