Join us on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at the Caldwell-Lake George Library for the final class in our Inspired by the Masters painting series, led by local artist Patrice Jarvis-Weber.
Whether you've never picked up a brush or paint regularly, Patrice guides every skill level through each step in a supportive, creative atmosphere. This month, we're inspired by Monet's Nasturtiums in a Blue Vase. Monet adored these fiery orange and yellow blooms and planted them by the thousands along the paths of his garden at Giverny. We'll learn his soft, feathery brushstrokes and luminous use of light and color while creating our own finished paintings to take home. We'll also dive into Monet's fascinating life and the remarkable role he played in the history of art.
