Jazz At The Lake

Now in its 42nd year, Jazz at the Lake is a free, open-to-all jazz festival held at Shepard Park Amphitheater in Lake George, NY, from Friday to Sunday, September 18–20, 2026. Set against the scenic Lake George backdrop, the festival features performances from renowned jazz artists across the country and offers you the opportunity to sit anywhere, even front row, with the chance to meet the artists. All shows are free to attend; donations are encouraged to support the festival and keep it accessible for everyone.

The 2026 festival schedule includes:

• Friday, September 18:
• 6:00 pm: Confluence with Jody Redhage Ferber (Shepard Park stage)
• 7:45–9:00 pm: Jazz Around Town featuring Rich Syracuse at The Caldwell-Lake George Library; Hot Club of Saratoga at The Barnsider; Chad McLoughlin Trio at The Lakeside Restaurant; Scott Hopkins Jazz Trio at the Lighthouse Restaurant

• Saturday, September 19:
• 9:00 am: Behind the Scenes tour of the new amphitheater
• 10:00–11:30 am: Coffee & Jazz with Dylan Perrillo and Brad Brose
• 1:00 pm: Jerome Jennings & iLL Philosophy
• 3:00 pm: Manuel Valera New Cuban Express
• 5:00 pm: Shayna Steele
• 7:00 pm: Kneebody

• Sunday, September 20:
• 1:00 pm: Paul Winter Consort
• 3:00 pm: Ekep Nkwelle
• 5:00 pm: Miguel Zenón Quartet

Food vendors on Saturday and Sunday include The Barnsider (BBQ) and Ben & Jerry’s. Additional food options are available in town.

The event is suitable for all ages. The outdoor, open-air amphitheater features both stone seating and grassy areas for chairs or blankets. In case of severe rain, the event will move to the Lake George High School Theater/Auditorium. See the festival’s page for weather updates. No registration or ticket is required.
