Beginner Lindy Hop: 6:00–7:00 PM — $25
A master class focused on the basics, open to first-time learners and those continuing their journey with a beginner’s mind. Ramona will offer basic rhythms, jazz steps, and a chance to experience the joy of partner dancing.
Advanced Lindy Social: 7:15–8:45 PM — $45
“Share the Work, Make Art!” This class focuses on creating something beautiful with a partner that you couldn’t make on your own. It starts with the basic concepts and practice of lead and follow, and finishes with dancers feeling safe and free to express themselves within the partnership. Dancers will get ideas for sharing rhythms, inspiration, and self-expression. We are both individuals and completely at one. Let’s dance.
Join us for a swing dance workshop with Ramona Staffeld, flying in from Australia for one night only. Ramona is a Lindy Hop and jazz dancer with a career spanning over 25 years. She has performed and taught on every continent and studied and worked as a teaching assistant with Lindy Hop pioneer Frankie Manning. As a teenager, she was invited by Manning to perform at Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing.
