TEMPO Lounge — Second Sundays of the month, 6:00–8:00pm
The Hot Club Sessions are back! All are welcome to join an open Django Jazz Manouche jam. Charts are provided. Come to jam, listen, or dance and enjoy an inclusive public jam exploring the exciting, rhythmic acoustic sounds of 1930s Jazz Manouche.
Musicians playing any instrument are welcome, from novices to advanced players. Singers and dancers are welcome too. Acoustic instruments are highly preferred; please keep amplification to a minimum and use it only for instruments that need it, like keyboards. Mics are provided for vocalists.
The jam is led by Sean Crimmins, a Hudson Valley native and member of the Broken Heartstrings. Sean has performed Hot Club Jazz Manouche for over 20 years and will provide “La pompe” throughout the evening with members of his band.
