The Hot Club Sessions

The Hot Club Sessions are back! All are welcome to join an open Django Jazz Manouche jam. Charts always provided.

Come to jam, come to listen, or come to dance. Enjoy the inclusive atmosphere of a public jam where we explore the exciting and rhythmic acoustic sounds of 1930's Jazz Manouche.

Open to musicians of every type of instrument. Novices, advanced players, singers and dancers are welcome. Acoustic instruments highly preferred; please keep amplification to a minimum and only for instruments that need it, like keyboard. Mics provided for vocalists.

Led by Sean Crimmins, a Hudson Valley native and member of the Broken Heartstrings. Sean has performed Hot Club Jazz Manouche for over 20 years and will provide "La pompe" throughout the evening with members of his band.

Location: Tempo Lounge. Enter the building through the side door on Hunter St.

$10-15 suggested donation at the door.
