About

Ginger Winn is a Kingston, NY–based singer-songwriter from Charleston, SC. She released her sophomore album, Freeze Frame, on June 13, 2025. Produced by David Baron (The Lumineers, Noah Kahan, Lenny Kravitz) at Sun Mountain Studio in Boiceville, NY, the album follows her debut, Stop-Motion. After recording it, Ginger fell in love with the Hudson Valley and decided to take root there.

Her sound has been described as “music that shimmers and sighs like a snowfall at midnight,” with haunting vocals, introspective lyrics, and richly atmospheric soundscapes. On Freeze Frame, critics have called the songs intimate, enchanting, and quietly powerful, with sorrow, beauty, and emotional clarity. “Escape” is described as “brutally honest and achingly raw,” while other songs are inventive, sonically playful, and rich with texture.

On stage, Ginger’s performances are magnetic and immersive, from intimate listening rooms to expansive outdoor stages. Audiences have said her shows “feel like a hug from a friend.” During her West Coast run opening for the Gipsy Kings, she performed at The Mountain Winery (CA), Vina Robles Amphitheatre (CA), Hayden Homes Amphitheater (OR), and Chateau Ste. Michelle (WA).

Born and raised in New York, Xondra turns her personal journey into emotive, genre-blending songs that combine indie pop, folk, and rock. Her music explores longing, growth, and self-discovery. Her upcoming album, The Way Home, is a raw, introspective exploration of heartbreak, resilience, and personal evolution, pairing vivid storytelling with rich, indie-driven instrumentation.

Since 2014, Xondra has performed across the country at venues including The Bitter End, Mercury Lounge, Hotel Cafe, and Bowery Electric, delivering immersive, emotionally charged live performances.
