About
Basilica Farm & Flea Holiday Market takes place November 27, 28 and 29, open 10–5 Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
We are thrilled to host over 140 regional independent businesses, including artists, artisans, collectors, farmers, chefs, herbalists, publishers, designers and organizations. With Black Friday Weekend known for big-box corporate mass consumerism, we are proud to offer an alternative where high-quality, local and sustainably sourced is the norm.
Alongside curated shopping, there will be community workshops and craft activities, plus farm-fresh food and drink. This year, the market is expanding into the Back Gallery and adding an outdoor dining courtyard. Germantown-based Gatherwild will host a Tent Village with heated canvas tents and farm camp activities, including custom chainstitching on textiles and charm bracelet making. The event will take over the full Basilica Hudson campus.
The full vendor list is available through the event page. The organizers will share more about the creators’ processes and products in newsletters and Instagram posts over the coming weeks. Visit the event and ticket page to secure your spot.
Basilica Farm & Flea began Thanksgiving Weekend 2013 as an alternative to Black Friday. It combines a flea market, farmers’ market and craft and design fair, featuring regional vendors selling handmade and collected wares alongside locally sourced, farm-fresh foods.
