Banned Book Bingo

Get ready to play, explore, and celebrate the freedom to read with Banned Book Bingo! Bingo cards will feature books that have been challenged or banned in libraries or schools. While playing, you’ll learn the story behind each challenge and why the book was targeted.

Some books may explore sensitive or mature topics, including racism, discrimination, LGBTQIA+ identities, mental health, grief, violence, abuse, sexuality, and other difficult life experiences. All ages are welcome—come test your luck, discover something new, and see if you can get BINGO!

This program is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the East Greenbush Community Library, a patron-supported non-profit organization.
