Paul & Mary Liz Stewart have been appointed Scholars-in-Residence at Russell Sage College. Awards include:
- Sense of Place Award from the City of Albany
- Black History Month Service and Leadership Award from the NYS Department of Health Affirmative Action Advisory Committee
- Underground Railroad Free Press Prize for Preservation for their restoration work on the historic Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence.
