Join Dungeon Master Alex and learn to play the world's most famous role playing game, Dungeons and Dragons.

In this workshop session we'll introduce the basics as you choose a character, discuss roleplaying, and learn the core mechanics through gameplay. Choose a pre-generated character and get rolling in a brief introductory adventure with new friends. The session lasts 3 to 3 1/2 hours.

Whether you're inspired by watching actual plays like Dimension 20 or Critical Role, video games like Baldur’s Gate 3, or just looking for a refresher on the new rules, this session is for you.

Do I need to bring anything? Nope. Everything you need to play will be provided by Dungeon Master Alex at the table. You are encouraged to bring your own dice and note-taking materials.

This session is designed for players ages 16+. This game will use the most recently released Players Handbook and the 5.5 (2024) updated ruleset.
