Time to tee it up with Albany County!
Taught by Class A PGA professional Joe Lavigna, this program teaches the basics of golf, including grip, posture, alignment, in-swing techniques, and fundamentals matched to each individual golfer. Short game development includes putting, chipping, and pitching with special emphasis on posture, alignment, and stroke. Additional instruction will include rules, safety, and etiquette. This program is for beginners as well as those who are looking to improve their skills.
What to bring / wear:
- Bring your own clubs if you have them; clubs will be supplied if you do not have any.
- Wear golf shoes if you have them, or sneakers.
- Dress in golf apparel if possible (collared shirt, no jeans).
- Dress appropriately/comfortably to be outside for an hour.
- Bring water, a hat, and a towel.
