In this introductory workshop, students will learn the foundational skills of crochet. This class is designed specifically for beginners and provides a comprehensive overview of the craft. Participants will select their preferred yarn from our curated studio collection and apply their new skills immediately by creating custom coasters.

Learning Objectives:
- Master proper hook grip and yarn tension techniques.
- Identify and understand standard crochet terminology.
- Successfully read and follow a basic crochet pattern.
- Complete a foundational project from start to finish.

Guest Teacher Bio
My name is Katlynn, I am a mom of 3 beautiful children. I was taught the basics of crochet when I was little by my mom and pick the crochet hook back up during Covid. I started off making blankets with the basics and then self taught myself how to make stuffed animals and amigurumi. I am excited to spread my knowledge and tricks I have learned over the years and having a fun time!

Classes at Thrifty Connections are intended for adults and suitable for individuals 16+.

Ticket Policy
All ticket sales are final. As a small business, we operate with limited class capacity. Classes require advance planning, preparation time, and the gathering of materials and supplies. Because of our limited capacity, we are typically unable to refill seats or recover the costs associated with cancellations. For these reasons, all class ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
