The Cello Experience

The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall is thrilled to announce the return of the free outdoor concert series; Barker Park Kid’s series!

Barker Park shows are at 11am on Thursdays during July and August. Barker Park is located at the corner of 3rd and State Streets.

Instruments for the children provided by:

• Demetria Koninis is the founder of The Cello Experience, a certified sound therapist, and a registered Suzuki cello teacher. With a background in therapeutic recreation, music education, Reiki, and sound healing, she creates immersive cello-based sound experiences that help reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and promote deep relaxation. Using the rich vibrations of the cello along with sound healing instruments, Demetria guides participants into a restorative state where balance, mindfulness, and inner calm can emerge. She is also the creator of the album Grateful Vibrations, a collection of original cello soundscapes designed to bring the healing power of music beyond the session space.
