About
[All ages] Come learn about a fascinating aspect of science and the world around us. Our presenters will discuss a different topic each month.
In March: "The Nobel Prizes: Stories, Science, and Society." Every year the Nobel Prizes are awarded in several fields, honoring achievements that have "the greatest benefit to humankind." We'll discuss their history, from Alfred Nobel's will to the traditions and ceremony that go with them today, and their role in inspiring future generations.
Presented by Dr. Daniel Robbins, Associate Professor of Physics at the University at Albany.
