Rhys Tivey & Lady Deryn

Rhys Tivey & Lady Deryn perform at Mount Ida Preservation Hall, 548 Congress St, Troy, NY 12180 on January 5, 2026. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 7pm.

Rhys Tivey is a performance artist, singer, trumpeter, music producer, songwriter, and composer, with three recording projects (No Voice No More, Backward EP, and Unsteady). He has collaborated with a variety of artists and has performed at venues such as La Mama Ellen Stewart Theatre, HERE Arts, New Ohio Theatre, and internationally. Tivey also teaches vocal technique incorporating yoga, qi-gong, and songwriting.

Lady Deryn (Natalie Deryn Johnson) is a lyricist, vocalist, and interdisciplinary artist whose work combines song, performance, and poetic inquiry. Her new music project, Deryn, is a collaboration with Rhys Tivey, featuring genre-fluid songs that blend atmospheric production and improvisational nuance, with Johnson’s lyrics and vocals leading the work.
