After presenting on her book The Problem with Plastic: How We Can Save Ourselves and Our Planet Before It’s Too Late, Enck will be joined by Shaunty M of Golden Leaf Books to talk about how to make a bill into law. Enck’s organization Beyond Plastics works on a slew of legislation to reduce the plastic in our environment, while Shaunty has experience pushing electric vehicle legislation.

About Judith Enck
In 2009, Judith Enck was appointed Regional Administrator of Region 2 of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) by President Barack Obama. She was the longest-serving EPA Region 2 Regional Administrator.
Ms. Enck is a faculty member at Bennington College, where she teaches classes on plastic pollution. She is founder of Beyond Plastics, an initiative that works on plastic pollution.
