“WTO/99” Film Screening on the Battle of Seattle

Join us for a screening of the documentary WTO/99, about the Battle of Seattle, when 40,000+ activists took to the streets of Seattle in 1999 to block a major World Trade Organization conference.

WTO/99 is an immersive archival documentary depicting the four-day clash between the then-emerging World Trade Organization and the protesters, and the protest's impact on human rights, labor, and the future effects of continued globalization. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s editor and producer, Alex Megaro.
