Patterns for Your Pooch! with artist in residence Casey Beal

Give your favorite furry friend something truly one-of-a-kind! Join Artist in Residence Casey Beal for a playful workshop in block printing on fabric. You’ll leave with a hand-printed bandana for your pet — or a collection of original fabric pieces perfect for patches, quilting squares, or your next sewing project.

Using Speedy-Carve blocks and fabric ink, Casey will guide beginners through all the basics of designing, carving, and printing your own patterns. If you already have block printing experience, you’re welcome to join for the community atmosphere and access to a variety of pre-carved blocks provided by the instructor.

Class structure:
- First half: get familiar with the tools and carve one or two simple patterns of your choice.
- Second half: print your blocks onto fabric — stick with your own designs or mix in additional pre-carved motifs to create something uniquely yours.
