Crandall Public Library invites community members of all ages to a celebration of hockey with Adirondack Thunder athletes, Gunnar the Mascot, and behind-the-scenes surprise guests!
There will be something for everyone throughout the Library and City Park:
- Story time with a player in Youth Services
- Q&A with players in the Biography & Travel Room
- Presentations on teamwork, leadership, and behind-the-scenes topics in the Holden Room
- Hockey games and drills in City Park
- Local Youth Hockey representatives
- Photos and autographs with players in the Community Room
- Gunnar the Mascot roaming around the Library
The Library will give away a variety of hockey books, as well as Thunder tickets and swag.
Throughout October, there will be hockey-related activities, including creating your own jersey in Youth Services, the Booked at Crandall book club for adults, hockey memorabilia displays, a presentation on the history of Glens Falls hockey, and book displays with a variety of hockey reading material.
