Celebrate creativity, courage, and the simple joy of making your mark during this special Dot Day program at the Hyde. Inspired by the beloved story The Dot by Peter Renyolds, participants will explore pattern, color, and imagination through hands-on artmaking in a warm and welcoming museum setting.

Together, we will experiment with dots in many forms—bold, playful, thoughtful, and expressive—discovering how a single mark can grow into something meaningful and uniquely our own. This is a relaxed, family-friendly experience designed for all ages and abilities, encouraging creativity, confidence, and connection to the joy of art.
