About

A second free performance will take place on Friday at our partner’s site, the Historic Salem Courthouse in Salem (Washington County), NY.

I Draw Slow is a five-piece folk band based in Dublin. They write original songs that evoke Appalachian old time, Irish traditional and indie folk.

  • Fiddle
  • Banjo
  • Guitar
  • Double bass
  • Sibling harmonies

These elements combine to create a sound that is both traditional and fresh, foregrounding storytelling and melody, delivered by skilled and passionate musicians.

The band has played over 50 North American tours and many of the biggest folk festivals in Canada and the US. Signed to Nashville label Compass, I Draw Slow is currently working on a sixth studio album.
