Upbeat on the Roof with Little Saints

Join us Thursday, August 6, at 6 pm for an evening featuring the genre-bending trio Little Saints. The performance takes place on the lawn outside the Tang. Bring picnic blankets, camping chairs, and your own food and drink to make it a night! Kids can get craft kits from Tang Art Educators at every concert starting at 5:30.

Little Saints is an original band born in Saratoga Springs. The three-piece, genre-bending combo is made up of singer/songwriter Natalie Santini, guitarist Andy Arnold, and bassist Ian Dingman. The band was founded by Natalie and Andy who, after having met in early 2019, decided to team up to work on melding Natalie’s devotion to powerfully agile singing, and honest, mature songwriting with Andy’s love for raw-yet-refined guitar playing. Little Saints draws on influences from artists like Brandi Carlile, Stevie Wonder, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band, along with peers in their musical community, to craft a sound that blends Americana, indie folk, and modern soul.

About Upbeat on the Roof

Upbeat on the Roof is the Tang Museum’s free, outdoor summer concert series on the grounds of the museum. The series highlights regional musical talent in an array of styles. Concerts take place on the lawn outside the Tang (we outgrew the roof!) every Thursday evening from July 9 through August 20 at 6 pm, and are free and open to the public.

Crafts on the Grass

Tang Art Educators offer crafts for kids at every concert, starting at 5:30. A different craft will be available each week.

• All projects are suitable for children aged 5 and up, with adult supervision recommended.
• Materials will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
