Painting with Patrice
“Will’s Sunset”
6–8 p.m. at the Chapman.

Local award-winning photographer William Adamczak’s photo of a sunset will inspire this acrylic painting class.

Using brilliant yellows and oranges for the sky, participants will then use a soft blue for the background mountain and brush on heavy darker shades for the foreground mountain and trees. Because of the photo’s bold hues and definite lines, participants will have an easier opportunity to practice drawing skills and learn methods to put the reflections onto the water.

• $35 per participant, or $30 for Chapman Members.
