🍎Watercolor 101: SEPTEMBER, September Apples

The Creative Jam Foundation is proud to support Watercolor 101! This monthly watercolor series is designed for absolute beginners — no pressure, no perfection, just gentle learning and small creative wins.

We will create three different shapes of apples to celebrate fall. Techniques that we will practice include painting wet on wet, dry brushing, building up layers, blending, adding contrast, and lifting.

Each class, you’ll complete small watercolor pieces while learning foundational skills like brush control, water flow, and simple shapes. We’ll explore leaves, flowers, trees, tiny animals, and light landscapes in an easy, approachable way that builds confidence month by month.

AND! Each month you'll receive a new tool for your watercolor tool kit—included with your ticket! This month- a tube of Winsor Newton Cadmium Red liquid watercolor!

Instruction is supportive, relaxed, and beginner-friendly. You don’t need experience, just curiosity.

Students starting their first class will also need to purchase a set of watercolors (select at checkout). Be sure to purchase the additional ticket.

Come once, or come every month. Either way, you’ll leave with art you made, and skills you can keep.
