Sew Simple: Beginner Pillow Workshop
Saturday, June 27 • 9 AM–Noon
Learn the basics of sewing while making your own 18" x 12" decorative pillow. This beginner-friendly workshop is great for people new to sewing or for a relaxed refresher. Participants will choose from a selection of pre-cut fabric options, then learn how to sew, turn, stuff, and finish a pillow.
What’s included:
- Pre-cut fabric
- Pillow form
- Instruction and use of basic class supplies
Thanks to donated fabric and pillow forms, we’re able to offer this beginner sewing class at an accessible price.
No cutting required — the fabric will already be cut and ready to go, so you can focus on using your machine, sewing straight seams, and creating something cozy to take home.
Participants should bring their own sewing machine if they have one. We will have a limited number of sewing machines available to use during class. If you need to borrow a machine, please choose that option when purchasing your ticket so we can plan accordingly.
Fabric choices are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis when purchasing tickets.
This class will be taught by Bridget, who worked at Joann’s for years and brings practical sewing knowledge, patience, and helpful tips for beginners.
