Old Time String Band Ensemble

The Old Time String Band Ensemble is a weekly class in an acoustic jam format crafted for beginner/intermediate players looking for experience with old time music ensemble playing.

Open to:
- guitar
- banjo
- mandolin
- bass
- violin

During each class, we will discuss the chords and melodies of a song (or two), then arrange and practice playing them together. We will pull from Old Time, Folk, Bluegrass, and Irish musical traditions.

Led by Max Rainwater.

$25 per class. Drop ins welcome.

Class is held in Tempo Lounge. Enter the building through the side door on Hunter St.
