One Day Workshop
Saturday, June 6th
11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Ages 16 and Up
Remember cutting linoleum prints in elementary school? Fall back in love with Lino printing in this one day workshop! We will transfer your original drawing onto a piece of linoleum and learn how to carve and print original multiples, with and without a press.
Printmaking is the most democratic form of fine art, due to the accessibility of materials, the process, and the affordability of collecting handmade prints as fine art. Create graphic, beautiful works of art with linoleum and ink! Participants will go home with a small edition of their own hand-printed linocuts as well as their carved block, with the potential of printing more at home or booking studio time in the future.
Come with your own original sketch, pattern, or image and we will get the fun started in this one day workshop! All materials included.
Parking: Please park on either Iwo Jima Lane or Cedar Street. Parking in front of the Neighborhood Print Studio is for residents living in the Pajama Factory.
Please register at least a week in advance to guarantee your spot. Scholarship availability closes 2 weeks prior to the start of class.
