Life Drawing

• Thursdays, 5:30 PM – 7 PM

• Ages 18 and up. Open to all levels.
• Limited capacity, reservations recommended.

This workshop offers a respectful, focused studio setting for drawing from the live nude model, with a balance of guided instruction and open studio practice. Participants will be encouraged to focus on form, gesture, and light, and to explore their own style.

Marine Penvern is a French-born, Hudson-based oil painter focused on portraiture. Her practice is grounded in intuition, observation, and repetition, with close attention to the presence of the individual. She maintains a regular life drawing practice as a way to sharpen her ability to see. Her approach is rooted in intentional mark-making, where each line carries meaning and contributes to the whole.

Class Price: $29 (plus $4 fee) per class
