Sasha Dobson

Brooklyn darling, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sasha Dobson, who's frequently known for her ongoing collaborations with Norah Jones, is also the daughter of Bay Area jazz icons Smith and Gail Dobson.

Revered for her vocal abilities and astute knowledge of the jazz tradition, she was featured at age 12 at the Monterey Jazz Festival and moved to New York to pursue her career by age 17.

She surprised the world with her debut album Modern Romance, a body of collaborative originals and the beginning of her career as a guitarist and songwriter. She has written many songs with Norah Jones, Jesse Harris, B52 guitarist and film composer Pat Irwin (to name a few).
