Discover the exciting world of electronics and Arduino programming in this hands-on beginner course. The course introduces the Arduino microcontroller and demonstrates how it can be used to bring projects to life by controlling lights, sensors, and other electronic devices.

Students will learn how to identify and understand common electronic components:
- Resistors
- Capacitors
- Diodes
- LEDs
- Transistors
- Inductors
- Integrated circuits

They will also explore fundamental concepts such as voltage, current, and power.

Participants will gain practical experience building circuits on a breadboard by following electronic schematics and diagrams commonly found online. Through guided projects, students will create and test working circuits, culminating in a fun reaction-time challenge called "Are You Faster Than Your Friend?"

Learn how you can "animate your project with an Arduino" and make it more interactive. By combining basic electronic components with an Arduino, you can build interactive projects that sense, think, and respond to their environment. This is often the first step into robotics, automation, and engineering design.

By the end of the class, students will have the skills and confidence to begin designing and animating their own interactive electronic projects.
