Artist info:
Maria Muldaur is best known worldwide for her 1973 mega-hit “Midnight at the Oasis.” Her 60-year career has been an odyssey through American Roots Music, including early blues, bluegrass and Appalachian "old timey" music. She began recording in 1963 with the Even Dozen Jug Band and later joined the Jim Kweskin Jug Band.

Maria has recorded many solo albums (the listing notes 44 solo albums) and has received multiple Grammy nominations over the years. Notable releases mentioned include Richland Woman Blues (2001, Grammy-nominated), DON’T YOU FEEL MY LEG ~ The Naughty Bawdy Blues of Blue Lu Barker (2018, Grammy-nominated), and the 2021 collaboration with Tuba Skinny, Let’s Get Happy Together. In 2026 she is noted as having her 7th Grammy nomination for One Hour Mama: the Blues of Victoria Spivey, along with Blues Foundation nominations.

BRUCE KATZ is a keyboardist (Hammond B3 and piano) who has released 12 albums as a leader and appeared on over 75 other CDs. He has toured and recorded with many artists and had a long musical connection with the Allman Brothers Band, including membership in Gregg Allman’s band (2007–2013). Katz is a multiple nominee for the Blues Music Award (Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year) and won the BMA for Acoustic Blues Album of the Year in 2019 for Journeys to the Heart of the Blues (with Joe Louis Walker and Giles Robson). He has additional nominations noted for 2020 and recognition from Living Blues magazine.
