Invasive Species Training with QLC

This is citizen science at its BEST! At our FREE Invasive Species Training — held in conjunction with New York's Invasive Species Awareness Week — you'll learn to:

• Positively identify terrestrial invasive plants common to Upstate New York
• Understand the dangers they pose to our local environment
• Use reporting apps to log sightings and contribute to real citizen science efforts

No experience needed! This is for anyone who loves the outdoors and wants to be part of the solution. If you walk trails, garden, or just spend time outside, this training is for you. Tag a neighbor, a fellow hiker, or your favorite nature lover and come learn together!

Every sighting reported helps researchers and land managers (like us!) better protect our community's green spaces.
