Embroidery at the Jam: Carolina Wren Sampler
Saturday, May 30 | 🕘 9 AM–12 PM
Settle in for a cozy, low-key morning of stitching and slow creativity.
In this beginner-friendly embroidery class, you’ll learn 8 classic stitches while creating a beautifully illustrated sampler featuring a Carolina Wren and Virginia Bluebells—both familiar, beloved sights here in upstate New York.
Your design will be pre-drawn right onto the fabric, so you can focus on learning the stitches and enjoying the process (no drawing skills required).
You'll learn:
- Foundational embroidery stitches you can use again and again
- How to follow a stitched design with confidence
- Tips for thread, tension, and clean finishing
All supplies are included:
- 7" embroidery hoop
- Needle + threads
- Fabric with stamped design
By the end of class, you’ll head home with a finished (or nearly finished) piece and the confidence to keep stitching on your own.
Perfect for beginners, and just as lovely for experienced makers looking for a relaxing, ready-to-go project.
