The Capital District Scottish Games will be held on September 5, 2026 at the Altamont Fairgrounds (129 Grand Street, Altamont, NY 12009).
This event features a wide range of Scottish cultural activities, including:
- Pipe Band Events
- Stage Bands
- Highland Athletics
- Highland Dancing
- Children’s Events
- Clans & Societies
- Import Vendors
- On-site camping
Registration is open for Pipe Band, Solo Contests, and Highland Dance competitions.
Tickets are available online and at the gates. Gate admission is $25. Children 12 years of age and younger are free at the gates. Free parking is provided. Veterans and active military receive a 50% discount on gate admissions with ID (valid only at the gate and only for the veteran or service member).
Additional offerings include a Patron's Tent, a charity golf tournament, and information on hotels and lodging.
