Socks In the Frying Pan – 12/10

Socks in the Frying Pan is a multi-award-winning trio from Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, formed in 2014. The band comprises Shane Hayes on accordion, Calum Bell on fiddle, and David McKindley-Ward on guitar.

Their “Socks Sound” combines virtuosic musicianship, a passion for Irish music and tradition, pitch-perfect harmonies, and quick wit and banter.

They have toured extensively, performing in 48 US states, dozens of countries, and every continent. Festival appearances include the Walnut Valley Festival in Kansas, Electric Picnic in Ireland, Tønder Festival in Denmark, and the New Orleans Jazz Festival.

The trio has released four studio albums and received accolades including “Best New Band,” “Best Live Band,” “Album of the Year,” and “Best Live Performance of the Year.” Their latest release, Waiting for Inspiration, was submitted for a Grammy award and featured in LadBible’s Top 25 To Add to Your Playlist.

The 443 is an intimate listening room with table service and seating for 75. Green squares and circles on the floor plan indicate bar-height tables; orange squares indicate regular-height tables.

• Multiple tickets purchased under the same name will automatically be seated together, up to six people.
