Join us on Saturday, 7/18 for an evening of music with local musician Josh Casano. 6pm // FREE
Josh Casano is a Listen Up Award–nominated, classically trained guitarist, music educator, and singer/songwriter. Josh has been involved in the local music scene for almost two decades. Starting in the early 2000s as a solo acoustic performer, he created a fun experience using a loop station, adding varied textures and layers to each original and cover song.
Josh has been part of WEQX's Pearlpalooza in downtown Albany, and has shared the stage with Eastbound Jesus, Scott Hannay (Mihali, Capital Zen), Derick Borst, Joe D'Urso, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, and more.
In recent years Josh has moved into full band arrangements of original music, including some of his musical family from the capital region and his own family. The four-piece band includes:
- David Gleason — Keyboard, Harmonica, Keytar
- Mike Lawrence — Bass Guitar
- Brian Chiappinelli — Drums
Together they create a sound with elements of jazz, jam, blues, rock, Americana, roots, and folk.
