Carrot Festival 2026

The 48th Annual Carrot Festival takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This family-friendly festival offers a full day of activities, food, live entertainment, vendors, and community engagement.

Food offerings include brisket sandwiches, chicken shawarma, vegetarian sandwiches, falafel salad, potato knishes and latkes, hummus, tsimmes, hot dogs, hamburgers, and a wide selection of carrot cakes and desserts, including gluten-free and pareve (non-dairy) options.

Live entertainment:
- 10:30–11:15: A Glezele Tey (klezmer)
- 11:45–12:45: R & K Jazz
- 1:15–2:15: Gina Coleman’s Misty Blues Band
- 3:00–4:00: Alex Torres Latin Orchestra

The Kids’ Zone features activities with local organizations like the Girl Scouts, Goldfish Swim School, Niskayuna Fire Department, and more.

Shop with local vendors, including artists, craftspeople, and businesses. Community service organizations will be at the Stephen Schechter Community Service Tent.

The “Stuff the Bus” initiative collects food, personal care and cleaning supplies, and school items for local support agencies.

Applications for vendor spaces are available online. Families and individuals of all ages are welcome.
