Start your day outdoors and join us for a hike at the Great Dune trailhead (#8). We plan to hike 1.8 miles over sandy hills along the red trail.

Directions from Discovery Center to Great Dune (Trailhead 8):
- At the traffic light in front of the Discovery Center building, continue straight through the intersection onto Old State Road and go 0.7 miles to the 3-way stop.
- Continue straight on Old State Road for 2.2 miles to Siver Road.
- Turn left onto Siver Road and continue 1.1 miles to where the road merges with Willow Street.
- Turn left onto Willow Street and proceed 0.8 miles to the Great Dune Trailhead.
