National Trails Day: Beaver Tree Trail Stewardship Project

Participate in National Trails Day by helping to improve the habitat along one of Five Rivers’ most popular trails. We’ll plant hundreds of trees and shrubs in a restoration area where invasive species were removed earlier this spring. Participants must be able to walk up and down hill, use hand tools, and enjoy getting their hands dirty. Gloves will be provided.

• Older children and adults are best suited to this activity; there will be a small service project for families with small children.
• Registration is required. Sign up by Wednesday, June 3 via email at 5Rivers@dec.ny.gov or by calling 518-475-0291.
• Please tell us number of volunteers and their ages (if volunteer is a minor) when you register.
