I have erased that line.” Oscar Levant, 1950’s character actor, brilliant pianist, and famous wit, was an over medicated, neurotic mess, making him a difficult person but a brilliant talk show guest. Here in 1958, Jack Paar, host of the Tonight Show, wants Oscar to appear, but will the network approve? Tune in to this story of humor and heartbreak.
