Everyday Sketching: Our Furry Friends with artist in residence Ottavia Huang at CREATE Community Studios- Troy

In this fun, relaxed workshop, participants will explore how to capture the charm and personality of pets through loose watercolor and ink sketches. We’ll practice observing posture, movement, and distinctive shapes to bring our furry companions to life on paper. Perfect for beginners and experienced sketchers alike, this session celebrates the playful spirit of sketching pets in a lively, expressive way.

This workshop is part of Shared Threads, a collaboration exhibition between the 2023–24 Artists in Residence at Arlene’s and Brosgé Clothing, on view at CREATE Community Studios – Troy from April through May 2026.
