The Whistling Kettle Book Club

The Whistling Kettle Book Club hosts in-person meetups on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at The Whistling Kettle's Schenectady location (138 Jay Street, Schenectady, NY 12305), from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.

Each gathering features lively literary discussions centered on that month's chosen book, along with delicious food and exceptional tea, in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Readers of all backgrounds are welcome, whether casual or dedicated book lovers.

Each month highlights a new book and a specially paired tea. Attendees can purchase the featured book at a 15% discount at The Open Door Bookstore (next door to the venue) during that month. Registration is available online.

For October, the book is "A Founding Mother" by Stephanie Dray. Attendees are invited to join for discussion and to enjoy the selected tea pairing.
